INFORMATION SHEETS

Fitted with a powerful Palfinger PK23002 hydraulic crane (with continuous 360° rotation), it can lift loads up to 6 tonnes, with an 8-metre reach and up to 10 metres of upward reach. It’s capable of lifting most lock gates for removal or installation without any issues.

Behind the crane lies a generous storage and loading area, allowing teams to transport equipment and materials alongside lifting operations. When lifting, the pontoon is supported by four hydraulic jack legs that extend down to the ground, providing a rock-steady platform in both shallow and deeper waters.

For transportation, the unit breaks down into 4-tonne sections which can be moved via a Hiab lorry. The crane can be removed to fit an 8-tonne excavator, ideal for dredging or bank protection work. With the ability to rotate 90 degrees for efficient loading/unloading, it’s one of the most versatile crane platforms in the fleet. It’s engineered for performance, flexibility, and ease of mobilisation.
