Built for canal works, lock maintenance, and heavy material handling, our unpowered wide-beam crane boat combines size, stability, and strength. With its 45ft x 9’8” footprint and up to 25-tonne carrying capacity, it’s one of the bigger crane boats in our fleet. It has ample space and strength, perfect for shifting stone, dredgings, or even concrete.

This unpowered lock maintenance crane boat features a front-mounted, 370° rotating crane that is fully remote-controlled for safe and precise operation. Its wide-set hydraulic stabiliser legs, complete with large foot plates, provide a secure lifting platform with minimal ground pressure, even on softer canal beds.


It features a 7-metre internal load space and a sealed tank that can accommodate both dry and liquid materials. Plus, the crane is compatible with a range of attachments, including clamshell buckets, piling hammers, and post drivers.


Despite being unpowered, it’s fully road transportable, allowing for quick mobilisation and efficient deployment wherever you’re working in the canal network.
