Product Description
One of the biggest challenges for inland waterway maintenance and restoration is accessing the most remote sections of the network. Routine inspections are essential, but often impossible to carry out on foot. Specifically designed for bridge inspections, confined sites, and hard-to-reach structures, the survey pontoon offers a safe, stable, and adaptable working platform for all types of survey work.

INFORMATION SHEETS
Compared to the other vessels in our fleet, this modular survey pontoon is the simplest. It consists of a simple modular deck, available in both powered and unpowered configurations. It’s designed for easy transport to and from the waterway, via a Hiab lorry, and is narrow enough to traverse any canal or river. Simply unload it, travel to the site, and then anchor it into position.
With hydraulic jack legs and a robust platform, it can support scaffold mounting. It’s an ideal solution for engineers, inspectors, and contractors working in canal, river, or civil environments. This allows teams to fully inspect bridges, getting high up to evaluate brickwork and other features without the risk of falling.
Whether you're assessing structural integrity, mapping underwater features, or supporting over-water scaffold systems, this platform ensures your team can work safely and effectively. Engineered for convenience, stability, and site versatility, it’s a trusted, low-impact solution for inspection works across the UK’s inland waterway network.
