With a fully insulated tank and purpose built construction, this hopper can handle high-temperature materials during transit, guaranteeing that hot-lay asphalt arrives warm and ready for use (even in remote locations).

Designed for inland waterways, the hopper’s low draft and narrow beam allow safe passage through locks and shallow sections. Its internal capacity accommodates up to 15 tonnes of tarmac – a high-volume, low-impact solution for linear resurfacing projects.

The best part? Each insulated tarmac vessel is completely Hiab-deliverable and can be double stacked on a lorry. It can be quickly loaded and deployed, even where land access is restricted. When paired with our tracked dumpers or workboats, it becomes an integral part of any towpath resurfacing operation.

Whether you’re laying new towpaths, cycleways, or canal-side access roads, this hot asphalt hopper is the ideal solution. It provides smooth, consistent delivery while minimising environmental and logistical impacts.
