CPjcEJ5A.jpeg

Product Description

The Harvester Boat is a self-propelled, all-in-one solution for managing floating and submerged aquatic vegetation in canals, rivers, and lakes. Designed to cut, collect, and store weeds in a single pass, it reduces clearance time and eliminates the need for manual extraction.

KEY FEATURES

  • Self-propelled reed & weed harvester

  • Integrated conveyor and cutting bar system

  • Holds up to 3.5m³ of collected vegetation

  • Discharge to bank or into hoppers

  • Highly effective on duckweed, pennywort, azolla, and blanket weed

  • Mobilisation: Hiab or trailer deliverable

INFORMATION SHEETS

Equipped with a conveyor belt (with cutting bars) and a storage hold, this vessel slices through vegetation such as:

  • Duckweed

  • Floating Pennywort

  • Blanket weed

  • Azolla

It clears large sections of canal or river in just a few hours. The integrated conveyor system lifts the cut material into a central holding tank with a capacity of up to 3.5m³.

Once full, the collected material can be deposited on the bank or into a hopper - simply reverse the conveyor belt. The harvester can then continue operating with an empty hold. It’s one of the most efficient automated weed harvesting solutions for floating aquatic vegetation on UK canals and rivers.

Extremely compact and manoeuvrable, this vessel is perfect for almost any section of the UK’s inland waterway network. It navigates narrow or restricted waterways with ease, tackling invasive species and seasonal overgrowth in sensitive environments. Whether working in conservation areas, navigation channels, or public waterways, this vessel delivers fast, effective results with minimal ecological impact.
