INFORMATION SHEETS
With machines ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonnes, our long-reach excavators range includes land-based, amphibious, or pontoon-mounted units. We supply the right solution for every kind of inland waterway project, from drainage ditches and navigation channels to lakes, sluices, and weirs. Excavators can be deployed on floating pontoons or positioned directly on the bankside, depending on access, water depth, and terrain.
Amphibious models excel in shallow, silty, or marshy ground, where traditional plant machinery would get stuck. Meanwhile, long reach arms enable efficient clearance of deep channels, steep embankments, and hard-to-reach vegetation zones.
Each unit supports a range of interchangeable attachments, including clamshell grabs, weed rakes, and specialist buckets - ideal for lifting, dragging, or scooping invasive growth, silt, or organic debris. Once mounted on a barge, the machine can be transported directly to the worksite by water, improving efficiency and minimising disruption to sensitive areas.
Whether you’re removing reeds, desilting a drainage channel, or deploying a long reach excavator for wetland clearance, our equipment offers a powerful, flexible solution that goes further, with less impact on the environment.
