The Rothen Group have launched their new 70ft Crane boat.  This is ideal for lock gate replacement projects as it has a 16 tonne crane with a maximum reach of 8m.  It is capable of lifting between 3.5t at 4.5m and 870kgs at 14.6m. The boat has the capacity to carry lock gates to/from site as it has a large hold space with gate frames (if required) and then work off its hydraulic jack legs to create a stable platform for replacing the gates.
